In addition to the house rules of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, the following regulations apply to visits to terra mineralia:
1. Smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted in the exhibition rooms and stairwells.
2. Before entering the exhibition rooms, bulky items of all kinds, e.g. umbrellas, raincoats, rucksacks and carrying frames, must be left in the cloakroom. Lockable cloakroom lockers are available for this purpose. Items are locked away at your own risk.
3. Cordoned-off areas must not be entered.
4. Guided tours by external tour guides are not permitted.
5. Teachers, group leaders and guardians are responsible for the appropriate behaviour of the children and young people in their care and accompanied by them.
6. Children under the age of 10 may only visit the exhibitions when accompanied by an adult supervisor. For groups, one adult supervisor is required for every 10 children.
7. Children under the age of 5 must be held by the hand by their accompanying adult.
8. In consultation with the admission staff, prams may be used on the main paths of the exhibition.
9. The exhibition area is accessible to wheelchair users via the lift. Please contact our staff if you require assistance.
10. Visitors are liable for any damage they cause.
11. Animals, with the exception of guide dogs, are not permitted on the premises of terra mineralia.
12. Lost property must be handed in to the cashier or security staff.
13. In an emergency, remain calm and follow the instructions of the security staff.
14. If an announcement is made, the building must be evacuated immediately. All escape and rescue routes are marked.
15. Photography for private purposes is permitted upon payment of a fee. The use of photos for commercial purposes and for media reporting requires the prior consent of the Chancellor of TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
